Practicing mindfulness & reduced anxiety

Try and stay in the present moment. There is no rule that says you have to be doing a million things at once. No where in the non-existent life handbook does it state for you to worry about everything that has yet to come.

Don't over analyse the situation, once you start doing that your creating an imaginary outcome. Just take it one step at a time, you have no way of knowing what's to come.

You cant control everything so you need to be able to accept that there is only so much that can be done. You cant go back in time and change anything and that's okay.

Trust in something bigger than yourself. Trusting in something bigger than you lets you focus on your tasks. You don't have to worry about "how?" You don't have to get overwhelmed by the details.

Find beauty in every moment, even the not so nice ones. look for the lesson. there is beauty to everything if you look hard enough. There is beauty in realising that you don't like a particular thing or a certain person.

Take action if necessary, and then move on with out a grudge. some moments will call for you to do something, and in that moment you will do the best you can. When the action is over, when the conversation is over, the meeting is done, the interview has finished ... when the action is over, let it be doe and move on.

Focus on one task, one activity, one thought at a time. Our culture has an obsession with being busy, an obsession with accomplishments and shiny stickers. we compete with each other over about who is doing more, who is doing better, who gets recognized and we sometimes decide our worth based on those ridiculous comparison but we don't have to. we can focus, we can be present, we can do one thing at a time and trust that it will be okay.

Stop labelling everything. You don't have to decide what something means in the moment. You don't have to say whether something is good or bad. You don't have to say whether your enjoying something or not, You can just allow life to unfold. You can observe, watch, exist in that moment.
